Tin Cup Pass

This is a popular trail for good reasons. Don't let the crowds in St Elmo deter you; it was packed as we drove through town, but the trail wasn't realy busy. We did see lots of smaller, quicker vehicles, but the trail is wide enough that there is almost always room to pass easily.

The recent rains have really made the area green. The mountain sides, valleys, and trees were all alive with new green growth. As we came to this one large open area we were treated to a view of three or four moose resting in the meadow.
