Black Gulch Trail

I really enjoy Kern River, so I thought I should find some of the local trails. Having located Black Gulch Trail on a couple of maps, I thought it would be worth a look. However, while driving along the trail I couldn't help but think "This is a 4x4 Trail? So far, its nothing I wouldn't drive in a rental car."

There is also Mad Mouse Trail that connects to this trail, but it's just a short loop. It looks steep and tilted, but looks can be deceiving.
