The trail begins with a shallow water crossing and then winds up and over the first summit. There are some mildly challenging rocky areas but a stock Jeep should make it through without any help. We brought a stock Xterra with us, and he did manage to make it throuth most of the trail with a little help. The toughest and roughest section is near the end of the trail as you climb to the final lookout point.
