The trail gets a Difficult rating but I give it a 2, because I can put it in 2nd gear and run the length of the trail without shifting. Look Out Trail is in the same area, and runs up the same hill. At the peak, overlooking the Bouquet Reservoir, there are shady spots under trees and a forest service roads that connects Rowher and Look Out Trails, and offers an easier way down and out the other side to Bouquet Cyn Road.

Rowher Trail is in a fairly harsh environment and you'll have to keep a sharp eye to see much more than sagebrush. Yucca plants thrive in the California desert and they are abundant along the trail. In the spring and early summer they show off their white flower blossom which eventually fall and leave large hanging seed pods.
