Hungry Valley SVRA
OHV Training Area
July, 2004
Hungry Valley State Recreational Vehicle Area is huge! The park is north of Los Angeles along the Interstate 5 in the Tejon Pass. There are 19,000 acres and more than 130 miles of trails. And, there are some training obstacles there that are perfect for new Jeepers.
There is a southern entrance at the Smokey Bear Road offramp, but it is not always open and probably not the best entrance for motor homes or trailers.
There is a paved road running through the park and lots of places to camp in the rough, and some more refined spots with amenities.
